First Sunday

Today we got off to a flying start at Morecambe Parish Church. It was great to see the church, along with family and friends, gather together for our main morning communion service. Really appreciated the 8am folks joining with us today at 10, as well as junior church kids coping with what was actually quite a 'grown-up' service. The hymns were a good sing, the choir were in excellent voice, and you'll have to get others to review the sermon. I still find the restrictions on using the chalice at communion frustrating, but we'll just have to live with it for now.

The party then started over the way with one of the best bring 'n' share meals I have ever been to (they call them a Jacob's Join round here), along with a plentiful supply of wine. Thanks to everyone involved with making it happen - you did us proud.
