More on Music

I feel a bit sorry for all those people who will be unwrapping 'The Priests' CD tomorrow. Having seen the advert endlessly, it's obviously full of all the standard sentimental religious stuff that used to occupy Stars on Sunday. Make a note never buy me anything like that, or Bryn Terfel, Josh Grogan, Welsh Choirs, etc.

Meanwhile if you're looking for something decent to listen to, I've just got Neil Young's Sugar Mountain: Live at Canterbury House 1968. It's a recording of him live, solo and acoustic between Buffalo Springfield and his first solo album. All part of a set of archive releases. The gig catches him at a slightly hesitant point before he gained his confidence as a solo performer. Released as a standard CD, with a DVD containing higher quality sound files.

Yoo hoo!

You must tell me the secret of your blog success.

I am intrigued by the fact that you feel it necessary to instruct your readers NOT to buy certain gifts for you.

Which suggests that your readers buy things for you.

Lucky you! How fab.

One yearns for one's readers to send gifts.
