Really pleased with myself. Our tumble dryer stopped getting hot, and I managed to find out the likely fault, obtain spare thermostats and fit them correctly. Total cost £14-75. That's what I call a result.

Bit sad that someone with your green credentials owns a tumble drier mate.
You've obviously not tried to dry washing in the winter in Lancashire without one.
We have - it goes smelly and you have to wash it again (or run a dehumidifier in the house all day, which is the same problem)
