China is up in arms (sorry, couldn't resist the pun) about a deal the US has struck with Taiwan to sell it military equipment. China has cancelled various meetings and projects in protest. Here's the US response

I am not sure what "politicisation of our military relationship" is but I know what "non-politicisation" of military relationship is--> It is for the rest of the world to watch and remain quiet amidst military equipment and arm sale! Words like "relationship", "opportunity" and "terror" has lost its meaning when discussing foreign policies these days.
