Plenty of reaction in the media to the news that McDonalds will be authorised to give qualifications from their training courses. In some ways, I have a lot of sympathy for this idea, s University / HE isn't the best option for everyone, but some kind of relevant training can benefit anyone.
It was bound to generate some gags, though. The News Quiz had a good time with it today, culminating in the inevitable "...it will be offered as a sandwich course"
