Nestle-free week

On July 4, it's the 30th anniversary of the campaign to boycott Nestle to raise awareness of their baby-milk marketing policies in developing countries. July 2-8 have been earmarked as Nestle-free week. For more info, click here

Do you not feel that it might be time to move on after 30 years?

I mean, are they still doing it?

I actually had no idea that it had been going on for long. I don't buy Nestlé coffee but that is much more to do with the fact that it can be a little harsh on the palate. I much prefer Kenco.

I think it is time for Nestlé to move on - they have systematically broken international protocols and agreements about baby milk promotion for all this time. Until they stop, I think the campaign is entirely justified.
