Heard this great story on BBC Radio 4 this morning, and here it is on the BBC News website. Apparently the Finns are embracing Latin as a language to get their ideas (and Elvis tribute artists) across to the wider world. Finnish is said to be hugely difficult to learn, so maybe it will work for them.
