latest entertainment

The street-lamp posters of Lancaster have maintained their time-warp reputation (see earlier). Latest attractions included The Drifters and Matt Monroe Junior (with Hawkwind and Wishbone Ash on their way). There was also an advert for a Chumbawumba acoustic gig and a Pink Floyd tribute band called Ummagumma. To be fair, they also have Chris Difford and Midge Ure to give it an eighties feel.

Chumbawumba, ah reminds me of going on a youth weekend away when I was 13, singing 'I get knocked down, but I get up again' at the top of our voices! Classic!
