It's a TV comment, not a theological discussion (yet)/ Just caught up with the first two episodes last night. I rather like the casting, and there's a lot of interesting takes on sayings and events. Giving some context for Caiaphas, Pilate and Judas helps, too. It's been said elsewhere that they tend to be depicted as 2-dimensional baddies in a lot of dramas, whereas it has to have been more complex than that.
Looking forward to seeing how they deal with the rest of the story.
