At last Alexandra Burke's cover version of Hallelujah is slipping down the charts. I don't quite know what it is about her version that irritates me - the sanitised production, the excessive r 'n' b derivative note wobbling. Leona's version of Run by Snow Patrol niggles me just the same. It's all technically correct, just lacking the grit that made it a great record in the first place.

I've bene meaning to post on this subject myself but I haven't had time! I agree completely with you Mike. Over-produced, over r'n'b'd, and generally flat in my opinion.
