Avoiding naffness in worship songs

Just rediscovered this article. (Thanks to Martin Walmsley for pointing it out). Quite a nicely balanced and sympathetic critique of the more cringey end of the modern worship song scene. Many are uncriticial; others would have us wind the clock back two or three hundred years, but this is good.

Very good article which matches my own prejudices in almost every way. Too many action songs yesterday in all-age servcice. I repent.
