Really getting nerdy

I am a dedicated Palm user - on my third model, a T|X (would have been second if I hadn't dropped the first one). It has built-in WiFi, which means I can browse the internet at home (TalkTalk permitting). You can also look at some features on Facebook, and use it for Windows Messenger. Just trying to work out why I would want to do so, other than it's even quicker to boot up than my iMac.
