Off to Wembley

It's getting close now. Not having any church duties on Sunday meant I could seize the opportunity to go to the Conference play-off final at the new Wembley. Morecambe v Exeter in front of probably their largest audience.

Wembley is a public transport venue, which is great (unless you live at such a distance that the only train that will get you there in time leaves the day before) Son gets a bit travel sick on coaches unless he's near the front, so compromise is to drive to a place where we can then get a train. Chiltern Line from High Wycombe / Beaconsfield is favourite (and cheaper than Warwick). Apparently you can also park at Uxbridge and get the Tube.

Looking forward to the experience, and now trying to find someone with SKY who could record the TV coverage so we can see the replays and play 'spot ourselves on telly'.

We have Sky sports (for the cricket).

What channel and what time?

It's on at 10pm, but they're showing the whole match, as it's cricket during the day. Think it's Sky Sports 1

Hope you enjoyed your days out guys. Good result too. Welcome to what used to be called the league proper. Chaplaincy?

Wondered that myself. I think they need spiritual support for the 'big time'!
