Fellow bloggers

Thought I would give some blogging colleagues an extra plug. Just made contact with Liz - a blogger in Inverkip in Scotland. Her blog includes some great pictures. She also nominated me for a thinking blog award, so I will need to attend to that in due course. Thanks, Liz!

Meanwhile, Emma is still in Kenya and her blog has new pictures. Feeding giraffes by hand should be the kind of experience that will give you street cred anywhere.

I was interested to find a Bishop's blog (Bishop of Bristol). Initially a means of reporting on his wife's recovery from serious injury, but now with much wider content. Interesting discussion points and easy to comment if you want to. Maybe I just like the sound of 'Bishop Mike'. Then again...

God's Politics is always worth a look. Run by Jim Wallis, but also featuring contributions by others, it gives some sense and balance to the American Christian scene.

All these are linked in the sidebar, but I just wanted to give them a bit more of a plug.

Mike, thanks for the plug. Was telling my friends tonight how you arrived at the title of your blog. You've been quite prolific since Easter. Stimulating posts.

It's from 'Cowgirl in the Sand' from the album 'Everybody Knows This is Nowhere'. Not sure what that says about me!

How can you call a seminal album which shaped a decade's worth of music obscure? Actually I know, but I guess that's the price of being an influence, rather than being the star...
