Why do I volunteer for Holiday Club? Not sure. Just when I'd like a rest after Holy Week/Easter, I find myself leading songs for kids all week. I hate the anticipation, but love the actual thing. The kids in the band are great, and I'm looking forward to them leading the worship on Sunday.
Incredible amounts of hard work have gone into the set-up - church dressed up as a pirate ship took some doing by some creative people. Plenty of scope for terrible jokes, too.
